About Singers Studio Sweden
The organization Singers Studio Sweden is open to singers and instrumentalists, composers, librettists, stage directors, conductors and any others working in the business of opera and art song. Singers Studio Sweden is a creative platform where artists regularly have the opportunity to hone their skills and art.
The activities of Singers Studio Sweden include master classes, individual lessons, lectures, concerts, as well as The Singers Studio. Singers can apply for one or more of these activities. The courses last two or three days. All voice types are welcome; opera Singers, concert Singers, ensembles, singing actors and other artists who sing.

Activities during our studio days
During The Singers Studio, the members test their material before fellow members and a moderator, who may discuss the experience of the presentation as well as further possibilities in the performance. The artist decides with which aspects she/he would like to experiment, and members have an opportunity to comment on their experience of the presentation. As an audience member you have the opportunity to witness the work, but cannot particpate actively. We welcome students at schools to attend as audience members in The Singers Studio. Since the creative process has many common points of interest, an audience member can still benefit greatly from a visit to The Singers Studio.
At a Master Class, singers work in front of an audience. Often an audience benefits as much from a Master Class as the participants, since this form of teaching gives the audience an opportunity to witness the process of artistic development while the artist prepares for a concert presentation. The teacher offers the singers his/her experience while suggesting technical solutions as well as different communication techniques. The interpretation is often the main focus of a Master Class; as such, the audience can participate and engage in the work that is presented.
In addition, Singers Studio Sweden arranges workshops, lectures and concerts open for public.
